For Sale - Vexed Generation Darted Sleeve Asymmetrical Zip Top. Founded by Joe Hunter and Adam Thorpe in 1994, Vexed Generation has since grown to gather a cult-like following. Their unique pieces addressed the then-current issues, such as pollution, surveillance and civil liberties, which are still relevant topics today. This was done through their eccentric designs, campaigns and the garments themselves. Often using military and technological fabrics, similar to those used for riot gear, bulletproof fabrics and knife-proof fabrics. This particular piece follows a super interesting design pattern and is ever-so futuristic for the time it was designed in. Darted, pointed sleeve cuffs, with curved seam construction and an asymmetrical zip placement. Don’t miss out on this super unique piece of history.

WHY SHOP VINTAGE

EXCEPTIONAL VALUE

Many of the suits and tailoring we source originally retailed for thousands. Vintage gives you access to exceptional designer construction, fabrics and craftsmanship at a fraction of the original price.

QUALITY THAT’S HARD TO FIND TODAY

Older tailoring was often made to a higher standard, with better fabrics, more considered construction and greater attention to finishing. These are garments built before cost-cutting became the norm.

SUPERIOR FABRICS

From luxurious virgin wool and cashmere blends to substantial gabardines and fine worsteds, vintage tailoring often uses fabrics with a weight, texture and handle rarely found at comparable prices today.

THE DRAPE

Great tailoring isn’t meant to cling to the body. The weight and construction of vintage suits allow the fabric to fall naturally, creating cleaner lines, stronger silhouettes and an effortless drape.

A BETTER INVESTMENT

Well-chosen vintage designer tailoring tends to retain its value far better than newly purchased contemporary clothing. Buy intelligently, care for it properly, and a great suit can remain desirable for years.

ICONIC DESIGNERS, BETTER ERAS

Vintage gives you access to defining periods from houses such as Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent and Hugo Boss, often from eras when their tailoring established the visual language they’re still known for today.
